حد فاصل بين دبي و بردبي آبهايي معروف به خور وجود دارد. در داخل خور چند کشتي تفريحي که به شکل رستوران دريايي مي‌باشد پهلو گرفته است. اين نوع کشتي‌ها هنگام غروب حدوداً 100 مسافر را سوار نموده و به سمت دهانه خليج فارس حرکت مي‌کند و از مهمانان خود با مراسم شام و شعبده‌بازي پذيرايي مي‌نمايد. اين سفر تفريحي 2 ساعت به طول خواهد انجاميد. هزينه هر مسافر بسته به سرويس ارائه شده به وي در حدود 100 تا 150 درهم امارات مي‌باشد.

 اين کشتي از سوي دولت امارات داراي مجوز حرکت و بيمه نامه کامل مي‌باشد. معمولاً اين کشتي‌ها از ماه سوم به سوددهي مي‌رسند. ارائه سرويس‌هاي بهتر سبب جذب مشتري‌هاي بيشتر مي‌گردد.

GENERAL SURVEY OF NON-CONVENTION SIZE VESSELS FOR REGISTRATION PURPOSES AND/OR NAVIGATION LICENSE ISSUANCE

Issued within the scope of Navispec Marine Services general conditions

Description of the Vessel:

At the request of CRUISE FLOATING RESTAURANT L.L.C., the undersigned surveyor to Navispec Marine Services declares to have inspected the above mentioned vessel whilst she was berthing alongside Dubai Creek by her port side in on 02 September, 2006 in order to determine her general condition for the purpose of UAE registration and reports as follows:

1.0  General Description of the vessel:

The vessel is a wooden hull construction as per the here above general particulars.

The engine compartment is located below the main deck.

The wheel house at the Forecastle deck fitted with two hinged wooden doors at port & stbd sides.

2.0  General condition of Hull and Hull Equipment

The hull and hull equipment have been examined and were reported as follows:

      Shell and main deck plating:

The side shell and deck plating were examined and found in satisfactory condition,

Painting & polishing were also noted to be in good condition.

      Rudder:

The rudder is noted to be in good & operational condition.

      Wheel House Equipment:

The vessel is fitted with the following:

All noted to be in operational condition.

Four navigational lights are provided, forecastle, stern, port & starboard.

3.0  General condition of the Machinery Installations

The machineries have been examined and noted well maintained.

   Main Engine:

The Main Engine Compartment was noted well maintained. Proper insulation is provided

    Diesel Generator:

Diesel generator was examined and load tested, was found to be in a good working condition. Proper insulation is provided. Starting batteries were found in good condition

     Auxiliaries & Accessories:

Vessel is fitted with the following items:

4.0     Main Lobby:

The main lobby was found in a good condition, fitted with a 42" plasma screen located at the forward portion of the lobby. Two side exit wooden doors port & starboard almost amidships. One mini bar with a small fridge. A Hi Fi sound system is provided with speakers distributed as appropriate. An access to the roof deck is provided at the aft end of the lobby, two toilets one port & one starboard are provided as well. Two doors leading to the wheel house are provided at the fore end of the lobby port & starboard. Underneath such doors, a store port & starboard is provided for miscellaneous purposes.

At the forward area of the lobby a store used for concrete ballasting & storage of mooring ropes, through such store an access to port & starboard ballast tanks is provided.

An access to the family room under main deck is provided at the forward section of the lobby. Lobby is equipped with portable fire extinguishers, air conditioners fitted at the ceiling, smoke detectors & a fire alarm.

5.0     Family Room:

Located under the main deck, its access is through the main lobby forward.

Equipped with a portable fire extinguishers, stand corner type air conditioners, speakers, couches.

5.1       Roof Upper Deck:

Roof deck was found in a good condition. A metallic mast is fitted almost amidships for tying a covering tent as a shelter.

Eight (8) life buoys are fitted on the bulwark.

23 Candle lights fitted on top of the bulwark, evenly distributed.

Two side wooden doors are provided almost amidships.

6.0      Fire fighting equipment:

Vessel is fitted with:

01 Dry powder portable extinguisher 12 kg located in the main lobby

01 Dry powder portable extinguisher 4.5 kg located in the main lobby

01 Dry powder portable extinguisher 4.5 kg located in the family room under main deck

01 Dry powder portable extinguisher 12 kg located in the engine compartment

Smoke detection & fire alarm system with its control panel located in the engine compartment

7.0      Life Saving Equipment:

Vessel is equipped with the following life saving appliances:

08 lifebuoys with lights
120 lifejackets

8.0     Manning:

The vessel is manned by three crew members.

9.0Conclusion and recommendation:

Following our general examination and subject to parts that could not be inspected, and documentation that could not be sighted such as the registry certificate, tonnage certificate,  stability booklet ( submitted for approval as per Master’s statement ), life-saving and fire-fighting plan, the vessel is noted to be well maintained and in satisfactory condition for safe operation.

In witness whereof and subject to any reserves concerning the conditions of parts which could not be surveyed, documentation that could not be sighted, this attestation has been issued for the ends and purpose for which it was designed.
